Hey Elise.  Hope you are enjoying Mount Saint Helen.  Good luck counting birds.

Here are some European birdies for you to identify.  Others feel free to join in the identifying process!

I definitely stand in awe of people who photograph birds professionally.  It is really hard.  They don’t stay still!  And they run away from you!

Two Fun Things Sent to Me by Two Fun Friends

Thanks to Jen for this funny link.  Watch out for the Stoned Wallabies!

And thanks to Sara for this rocking video that will make you want to dance.

I am in Berlin!  Staying at the Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat.  I have exhausted myself seeing the sights and museums today.  I think I will do a walking tour tomorrow morning and then photo graffiti in the afternoon.  I hope the weather is better than it was today.

Here is a fun video sent to me by my friend Sara.  In honor of Fiona and all her ducky friends.

Cool Crocheted Creatures

Posted in Arts and Crafts, Crochet and Knit, funny with tags , , , , on June 1, 2009 by Yarn Over New York

EDIT:  Looks like I jumped the gun on this one.  These crocheted creatures are created and designed by Patricia Waller and were only on display (and incorrectly labeled as knitted) on Slightlywarped.

My favorite of her designs. A poor rubber ducky. Photo from her website

So most of you know that I like to crochet.  I have made lots of amigurumi (crocheted animals).  My friend Adam just sent me a website that shows some Slightly Warped knitted creatures designed and created by someone way cooler than me.
