Asian Winter Odyssey 2010-11

As I am sure you have gathered by now, I like to travel.  I like to wear handmade hats and trot the globe under the aliases of “Skoopy” and “La Femme Cactus.”  In addition to all the touring I have done for work and my study abroad in Italy, I have”backpacked” in Europe twice.  Once in 2003 with my then boyfriend Matt. And again in 2009, I was lucky enough to have some extended travel time and was able to visit a great deal of places.  I christened that trip my “European Summer Adventure.” (You can read all about those adventures here.)  As of the time of writing, I have been to 42 countries on 4 continents with plans to conquer a few more this year.

Simple Enough Concept

At the beginning of November 2010, my contract with Dragone ended and legally had to leave Macau for 56 days before a new visa could be issued.  Therefore I needed to travel to for two months.  I decided to spend most of my time in Asia and then take advantage of my contractual “flight to country of origin” and do three weeks in the States as well.

Here is my itinerary.  I will add links to blog posts for each stop as I write them.
